California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has listed six industrial chemicals as carcinogens under Proposition 65. The chemicals include: 2-amino-4-chlorophenol; 2-chloronitrobenzene; 1,4-dichloro-2-nitrobenzene;
The six chemicals were listed via Proposition 65’s Labor Code Listing mechanism on September 13, 2019.
The chemical listings took effect with OEHHA’s announcement of their listing.
The six industrial chemicals will be subject to Prop 65 enforcement on September 13, 2020.
