California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has accepted a request for a Safe Use Determination for Styrene used in Fiber Care Baths, Inc. Bathware Products that are manufactured Utilizing 1st and 2nd Laminations Systems and LV-9800 Acrylated Gel-Coat. The agency has opened a public comment period for Comments on the SUD. The comment period begins on August 17, 2018 and closes on September 17, 2018.
Exposure to other listed substances, if any, which may be present in these materials will not be reviewed by OEHHA in the context of the SUD request, the agency notes.
Comments may be submitted electronically through OEHHA’s website at https://oehha.ca.gov/comments. Comments submitted in paper form may be mailed, faxed, or delivered in person to the address below.
