Classifying Them as Priority Products Under the SCPR

California’s Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has proposed to designate certain children’s foam-padded sleeping products as “Priority Products” under the Safer Consumer Product (SCP) Regulations, marking the agency’s first regulatory action to designate a priority product.  DTSC also announced a 45-day comment period that will run through August 29, 2016.
