It is important to note that this particular survey is far more inclusive and elaborate as compared to the previous surveys, and could require substantial time to complete. Once a company has finished reviewing the category list, they can visit a pre-survey website here in order to determine if their compliance is required.
While working on completing the survey, companies are required to register with CARB prior to submitting their surveys. CARB’s website also provides tutorials to guide you through this process.
CARB began accepting 2013 survey results on January 1, 2015. The deadline for submission of the surveys is March 2, 2015. The agency’s reporting period for 2014 sales begins on July 1, 2015.
